Bathroom Update.

I used the wrong one at McDonald’s today, the other girl was taking to long and I almost got stuck in there. I have to admit I started to panic.

I also used one at the nice mall today. It costs 50 kopeck (1/2 a grevna), sorry about the spelling and it did not even have a toilet seat and no one bothered to tell me that you need to take the toilet paper in the stall with you from the main area!!!

lol... been there and done that. Remember to ALWAYS keep tissue in your coat pocket. I also don't get the no toilet seat thing but they are not most places esp in the city of adoption. Kiev is usually much better about it. Good luck on your trip!

Ha Ha! I had to laugh! Brings back memories of when we were there this past April, almost 6 months ago. Just think of the brighter side.....your giving your thighs a work-out when holding yourself over the toilet bowl or sometimes "hole"!! Glad to see you using your sense of humour!

Ok, Kim I just found your blog through Leanna's website. I am so sorry to read of the trouble you had. You are a much more kindhearted person than I would have been. About the bathroom, OMG I went into the bathroom at one of the malls in Kiev and no one told me about picking up the TP in the main area either. I luckily had a nice used snotty tissue in my pocket from my son. YUCK! but less yuck than not, LOL!!! I will follow you everyday and I will pray for this referral. God Bless! Amy W.

I am glad you are still finding a way to laugh. I should have warned you about the bathrooms in the old country.

I am confident that you and Brad will find your children and they will be the luckiest to call you mom and dad. Just keep thta in mind. You are in my thoughts!!

No comments on the bedsheets? That made me crazy that they didn't have fitted bottom sheets so the flat sheet would shift all over the place by the time you woke up.

I would love to hear what you thought of the Lavra - did you go down in the catacombs? That was probably the coolest experience of the touristy side of the trip!

Looking forward to watching the rest of your story unfold!

Too funny about the TP....its like that in a lot of European countries plus, they make you pay to pee!!! How unfair is that when you are desperate and doing the pee pee dance - too cruel!

Its snowed again here - its sticking around on the grass but melted off the roads. Looks like we are getting a gradual taste of what is to come this winter.

I hope all is going well and can't wait for an update.

Take care - hugs from us.
